Are your employees outsource?
All support is in house, even though we allow employees to work remotely from home.
Do you allow adult content?
Yes, we allow adult content. We allow anything that is legal on the servers as we support freedom of speech.
Do you do regular backups of my account?
Yes, we do nightly backups of your data. But please know that we encourage you to do your own backups also, as you are ultimately responsible for your data.
Do you provide any money back guarantees?
Yes. We provide a 30 day money back guarantee for our hosting plans. If you're not satisfied we will refund your money as per our 30 day money back guarantee. This does not apply to domain registrations. We do always try to work things out first! As we value your business.
How long does it take to setup my account?
All accounts are setup within 5 minutes of sign up. We will call you to confirm your order if necessary for fraud prevention purposes.
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1999! There are very few web hosts that have been around for as long as we have.
How many e-mail accounts do you allow?
We allow an unlimited number of pop e-mail accounts, which will be username@yourdomain.com, and includes: -Unlimited email aliases. -Email forwarding. -Unlimited auto responders.
Is your network fast and reliable?
Yes. It's very fast and very reliable. The network is so redundant we guarantee a 100% uptime for our network! You can test our speed by downloading our 11MB test file.
May I see some of the web sites you host?

My web site gets a lot of traffic--will this be a problem?
This will depend on the nature of the site. If it's just a straight HTML news site, or shopping site there will be no problem. Forums are no problems for the most part, we host many large ones. If it's an interactive 3D model rendering site that pulls directly from the server then we may not be able to host it.
What content do you not allow?
We do not allow hate sites, racist sites, gambling sites (as they are illegal in the USA), and basically anything illegal. Warez and torrent sites are permitted as long as there is no illegal files hosted on our servers.
Will I be allowed to host my friends/family?
Yes, our plans come with unlimited domains for that reason! If they need their own control panel you will need a reseller hosting account. They will only have e-mail, FTP and web site access.
Packages And Support
Can I password protect directories?
Yes. It is very easy to setup in your cPanel control panel. You can setup multiple users to create a "members only" section too.
Can you help me migrate my accounts over from my previous host?
Yes, we can definitely help you. If your old host was using cPanel it's much easier, but we will try either way, free of charge.
Do you assist in moving my web sites from another hosting company? How much does it cost?
We can help you move all your web sites over, and no, it's absolutely free for us to move the sites. We can't make guarantees, but we will try our best!
Do you have FFMPEG?
Yes, we have FFMPEG and is installed on all servers.
Do you have MySQL?
Yes. Even our starter plan allows the creation of unlimited MySQL databases.
Do you have SSH (shell) access?
Yes, we allow SSH access, but it must be requested via a ticket. We disable telnet for security reasons.
Do you offer custom packages?
Yes. You will have to e-mail admin@bounceweb.com with your requirements, and we will price it out for you.
Do you offer shopping cart software and provide e-commerce hosting services?
Yes! E-commerce hosting is fully supported. We offer the following 1 click install (via Fantastico) shopping carts FREE: -AgoraCart -CubeCart -OS Commerce -Zen Cart Or you can install your own.
Do you provide web site statistics software?
Yes. The statistic software that is included (and can be see in your cPanel control panel) is: -Webalizer -Webalizer FTP -Awstats -Analog
Do you support Microsoft Frontpage Extensions?
Yes, all our serves fully support Microsoft Frontpage Extensions.
How many IP addresses come with an account?
Your account will be on a shared ip, but if you need a dedicated one it can be purchased from us.
Is your support 24/7/365?
Yes, we even have a 30 minute support response guarantee. Within 30 minutes of your question, we will respond and work on it immediately.
Is your web hosting Unix, Linux, or Windows based?
All of our servers are running Red Hat Enterprise Linux as this is a very reliable and powerful OS for web hosting servers.
What if I need more space and bandwidth?
If you're at the top plan, and require more space and bandwidth we can upgrade your site for a small fee. If you just need a small amount, we can upgrade your account free! We are very reasonable when it comes to upgrades.
What kind of servers do you use?
We use at least dual Intel Xeon processor servers with at least 2GB of RAM, which are mainly Dell Poweredge servers. We never overload any server, so it's always fast.
What version of PHP do you have?
We have PHP4 and PHP5 on all servers.
Will you install custom Perl modules?
Yes. All you have to do is send in a ticket to our support team with the module information such as name and URL of the module, and we will install it for you.

Are there any setup fees or hidden charges?
No, we never charge setup fees, and our pricing is straight forward without any hidden charges.
